Family Shared Tasks — Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Family Shared Tasks ("the App") collects, how that data is used, and the choices you have. The App is published by AMK Solutions ("we", "us"). Questions: blin@amk.solutions.

Data we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to make the App work.

From Sign in with Apple

When you sign in we receive, via Apple:

• A stable user identifier
• The email address you authorize Apple to share (this may be a private relay address that Apple controls)
• Your name, on first sign-in only, if you choose to share it

We do not receive your Apple ID password and we do not have access to your Apple account.

Data you create in the App

• Display name (you can edit this)
• Groups you create or join, and the auto-generated invite code for each group
• Todo items you create (title, notes, optional location, optional due date / start time / end time, completion status)
• Assignments of todos to other group members and the accept/decline status

Calendar data

If you enable calendar sync, the App uses Apple's EventKit to create, read, and update events in the calendars you choose. Calendar event content stays on your device — it is not sent to our servers. We only store an opaque event identifier in our database so the App can keep todos and events in sync.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect device advertising identifiers.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell or rent personal data.

How we use the data

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To show your todos and your group's todos to you and other members of the same group.
• To show member display names alongside todos and assignments.
• To debug crashes and errors using server logs (limited retention; described below).

Where the data is stored

App data is stored using Supabase, a hosted Postgres provider, acting as our data processor. Supabase hosts data in regions managed by AMK Solutions; current region: US. Authentication is provided by Apple and Supabase Auth.

Sharing

• Other group members see the todos you create in that group, your display name, your assignments, and assignment statuses.
• Apple receives sign-in events as part of Sign in with Apple.
• Supabase processes data on our behalf under their data processing terms.
• We do not share data with anyone else, except where required by law.

Retention and deletion

• We keep account data for as long as your account exists.
• You can delete your account from inside the App: Settings (person icon) → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, the todos you created, your group memberships, and your authentication record. The deletion is immediate and irreversible.
• Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for diagnostic purposes and then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. The "Delete Account" action in the App fulfills the deletion right. For other requests, email blin@amk.solutions and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Family Shared Tasks is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database access is enforced by row-level-security policies so that only authenticated members of a group can read or modify that group's data.

International transfers

If you access the App from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
